Togo Onsen Kosenkaku Yojokan
Hot Spring Overview
Kosenkaku Yojokan is a long-established hot spring ryokan founded in 1884 (Meiji 17), located on the shores of Lake Togo in Yurihama Town, Tottori Prefecture. With over 140 years of history, the inn sits beside a vast Japanese garden of approximately 6,000 tsubo, offering tranquil lakeside scenery and natural surroundings. The facility features seven different baths, all fed by its own natural-flow hot spring source. These include two open-air baths (Rakuen-no-yu and Hagoromo-no-yu), two large observation baths with floor-to-ceiling glass (Hiten-no-yu and Tensho-no-yu), and three private baths (Fuju-no-yu, Meigetsu-no-yu, and Kirameki-no-yu). The spring is a sodium-calcium chloride-sulfate spring rich in metasilicic acid, known for its skin-beautifying effect and benefits for nerve pain, muscle pain, joint pain, sensitivity to cold, and overall fatigue recovery. Please note: the inn has been temporarily closed since March 1, 2024 due to embankment construction work on Lake Togo by Tottori Prefecture.
