Located in Okutsu, Kagamino Town, Tomata District, Okayama Prefecture, Ikedaya Kajika-en is a historic inn in Okutsu Onsen, one of the Mimasaka Sanyu (Three Great Springs of Mimasaka). The inn stands on the site of a former villa of Mori Tadamasa, the lord of the Mimasaka domain, and was originally founded in 1929 as Kajika-en. The name derives from the kajika frogs whose calls echo through the valley in early summer. After closing in 2012, the inn was revived in April 2018 as Ikedaya Kajika-en by Komeya Club, another establishment in Okutsu Onsen. A tea room designed by the renowned woodblock print artist Munakata Shiko, who was close to the former owner, remains preserved and is named Myochian by Munakata himself.

The spring quality is alkaline simple hot spring with a source temperature of 38.5 to 42.0 degrees Celsius and a pH of 9.3, making it a strongly alkaline beauty spring. The flow rate is 300 liters per minute from its own private source, delivered as completely free-flowing source water. The colorless and transparent silky water softens the skin, earning its reputation as a bijin-no-yu (beauty spring).

The inn features a main bath, open-air bath, and private baths. All 11 guest rooms offer views of the Yoshii River, and guests can enjoy the changing seasons in the tranquil riverside setting. Autumn brings vivid foliage while early summer offers fresh greenery and the melodious calls of kajika frogs. Day-trip bathing is available for 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children from 10:30 to 18:00 (last entry 16:00). Overnight stays start from 9,900 yen.
