Tsurugi no Yado Iwato is a hot spring inn located in Ichiuakamatsu, Tsurugi Town, Mima District, Tokushima Prefecture, at the southern foot of Mount Tsurugi (1,955m), the second highest peak in western Japan. Standing along the clear waters of the Sadamitsu River, this inn has long served as a base for pilgrims ascending Mount Tsurugi, a sacred peak revered in the Shugendo mountain ascetic tradition. Formerly known as Onsen Hoyou Center Iwatoso, it has a history of operating as a municipally run hot spring facility contributing to local health and tourism. The facility has been renovated and rebranded as Tsurugi no Yado Iwato, offering both overnight stays and day-trip bathing.

The spring water is classified as a sulfur-containing sodium chloride and bicarbonate cold mineral spring (hypotonic, mildly alkaline cold mineral spring), piped from the Tsurugisan Yuuma Onsen source. As the source is a cold mineral spring, the water is heated for bathing use. The sulfur-rich water has a smooth, silky texture and is reputed to be effective for neuralgia, rheumatism, diabetes, and atopic dermatitis. The spring is registered as a sulfur spring with the Japan Spa Association.

The bathing facilities include an indoor bath and an open-air bath, complemented by a sauna and cold water plunge pool. The large windows of the main bathhouse command panoramic views of the Sadamitsu River gorge through all four seasons. An on-site restaurant serves cuisine featuring local mountain ingredients and river fish. The inn has 10 Japanese-style guest rooms, with overnight stays including two meals starting from approximately 7,000 yen per person. Day-trip bathing is 400 yen for adults and 200 yen for children.
