Asebi Onsen Yasuragi no Sato is a day-trip hot spring facility situated at the foot of the Asan Mountain Range in Itano Town, Itano District, Tokushima Prefecture. Established in 1999 (Heisei 11) by the town of Itano, the facility was developed to harness natural hot spring water gushing from 250 meters underground and make it available to both local residents and the general public. The name Asebi derives from the Japanese Andromeda (Pieris japonica), an evergreen shrub of the Ericaceae family that grows wild in the Asan Mountains. Located near Temple No. 1 (Ryozenji) and Temple No. 2 (Gokurakuji) of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, the onsen is also cherished by henro pilgrims seeking to soothe their weary bodies.

The spring is classified as a simple sulfur cold mineral spring with a source temperature of 20.7 degrees Celsius and an alkaline pH of 8.9. The natural hot spring water gushes naturally from 250 meters underground, with a total mineral content of 308.6 mg/kg. The alkaline sulfur spring is renowned as a beautifying water, leaving the skin silky smooth after bathing. A dedicated source water bath allows guests to experience the unheated cold mineral spring in its natural state, while the main baths are heated for comfortable soaking. Therapeutic indications include neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, joint stiffness, bruising, sprains, chronic digestive disorders, hemorrhoids, cold sensitivity, convalescence, fatigue recovery, and general wellness.

The facility features a large indoor bath, open-air bath, mist sauna, dry sauna, cold plunge pool, cascade shower, source water bath, bubble bath, and jet bath. Tall bamboo groves frame the view, and a spacious deck overlooks an exquisitely maintained Japanese garden, allowing bathers to enjoy the seasonal beauty of the surroundings. Additional amenities include a rest area, manga reading corner, vending machine area, training room, gallery, and massage chair corner. Admission is 600 yen for adults and 400 yen for children, with operating hours from 10:00 to 21:30.
