Shimonita Onsen Seiryuso is a hot spring inn and member of the Japan Secret Hot Springs Association, nestled along the Kuriyama River, a tributary of the Kabura River, in Shimonita Town, Kanra District, Gunma Prefecture. Built on approximately 7,000 tsubo of quiet land, it features a nature-rich environment where you can enjoy hot springs while listening to the murmur of a clear stream.

The hot spring is a calcium/sodium-bicarbonate cold mineral spring containing carbon dioxide and bicarbonate. A characteristic feature is that fine bubbles adhere to the body during bathing. The source water flows through naturally, and it's said to be effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, sensitivity to cold, and fatigue recovery.

The bathing facilities include indoor and outdoor baths. For day-use bathing, only the outdoor bath is available. The outdoor bath with a view of the clear stream is exceptional, allowing you to experience nature through the four seasons.

The cuisine specializes in game dishes including wild boar, pheasant, and deer. Dishes featuring local mountain and river delicacies are served.

Accommodation rates are around 15,000 yen per person per night with two meals (tax included, details require confirmation). Day-use bathing is available, using only the outdoor bath (fees and hours require confirmation). Check-in is at 15:00, check-out at 10:00, with irregular holidays.

Access is by car from Joshin Dentetsu Shimonita Station (about 15 minutes). By car, it's about 10 minutes from Shimonita IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway. Free parking is available. It's a secret hot spring inn where you can spend quiet time by a clear stream.
