Fukaya Onsen Motoyu Ishiya

Hot Spring Overview
A long-established ryokan with roots in the Edo period, connected to the Kaga Domain, nestled in the suburbs of Kanazawa City. The spring quality is sodium-bicarbonate spring (hypotonic weakly alkaline cold mineral spring), with 12-degree Celsius mineral water that is heated for bathing. The source water of Motoyu Ishiya flows through lignite layers formed from ancient reed and plant deposits, resulting in water rich in plant-derived organic matter, sodium bicarbonate, and natural moisturizing components. The amber-colored water with its smooth texture is known as 'Beautiful Skin Hot Spring.' The inn features a Noh theater stage, offering a unique experience to enjoy hot springs while immersing in the culture of Kaga's million-koku domain. Located only about 20 minutes by car from Kanazawa Station, it serves as an ideal base for Kanazawa sightseeing. A secluded single inn that combines mountain tranquility with convenient accessibility.
