A day-trip hot spring facility located in the center of the Shiramine district of Hakusan City, designated as a National Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District. The spring quality is sodium-bicarbonate spring (pure sodium bicarbonate spring), known as a rare spring type nationwide. Called 'Silk Skin Hot Spring' for its smoothness, this beautiful skin hot spring leaves bathers with silky smooth skin after bathing. It is effective for numerous conditions including neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, joint and muscle stiffness, decreased gastrointestinal function, mild hypertension, impaired glucose tolerance (diabetes), hemorrhoid pain, cold sensitivity, convalescence, fatigue recovery, health promotion, cuts, and dry skin. The wooden building with Shiramine-style warmth features separate bathing areas for men and women with outdoor baths and saunas, plus a rest area. An ideal stop after climbing Mount Hakusan or strolling through the Shiramine district.
