Okame no Yu is a day-trip hot spring facility located in Taroji, Soni Village, Uda District, Nara Prefecture. It opened in December 2004 and is operated by the Soni Village Tourism Promotion Corporation within the Soni Kogen Farm Garden complex. The facility takes its name from Mount Kame on Soni Plateau and the gourd-shaped Okame Pond, which is associated with a local beauty legend about a woman named Okame who was said to have transformed into a great serpent.

The spring water is classified as a sodium bicarbonate hot spring (hypotonic, alkaline, high-temperature) with a pH of 8.5 and a source temperature of 42.5 degrees Celsius. Rich in sodium bicarbonate, the water gives the skin a distinctly smooth and moisturized feel, earning it the reputation as a beauty spring. The facility has won first place overall in the Yurarin hot spring stamp rally rankings (2012-2013 series) and first place nationally for water quality (2017-2018 series). Therapeutic benefits include neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, joint stiffness, bruises, sprains, chronic digestive disease, hemorrhoids, cold sensitivity, convalescence, fatigue recovery, general wellness, cuts, burns, and chronic skin conditions.

The facility features two bathing areas that alternate weekly between men and women: the Stone Bathhouse, with a rustic stone design and a panoramic open-air bath overlooking Soni Plateau, and the Wood Bathhouse, with a warm wooden interior and an open-air bath commanding views of Mount Kabuto and Mount Yoroi. Both areas include indoor baths, open-air baths, a sauna, a cold-water bath, and a cascading water bath.
