About a 15-minute walk from the Tsubame Onsen town, this open-air mixed-gender bath is set along a scenic mountain gorge. The water is a milky-white sulfur spring, rich in natural minerals and floating "yu-no-hana" (mineral deposits). It is said to be beneficial for skin conditions, gynecological issues, and diabetes.
A small changing area is available. The bath itself is built from natural rocks and stones, offering a rustic charm and breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. Please note that the bath is closed for cleaning on Monday and Friday mornings.
The trail to the bath is part of the "Myoko Kogen Nature Trail," a certified Forest Therapy Road, making it a perfect stop after hiking or trekking in the area.
Admission is free.
Closed during winter (from around November to June).
