Echizen Tamagawa Onsen Ryokan Jinbee
Hot Spring Overview
Echizen Tamagawa Onsen Ryokan Jinbee is the oldest hot spring inn along the Echizen coast, situated on the Tamagawa shoreline in Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture. The hot spring was discovered through boring in 1965 and has since been cherished as a representative hot spring inn of the Echizen coast. The spring water is alkaline simple hot spring (pH 9.0) with a source temperature of approximately 27 degrees Celsius, a cold mineral spring heated for bathing use. The colorless, transparent water with a silky smooth texture is known as a 'beauty skin bath' and is also available for drinking. The outdoor bath offers magnificent views of the Sea of Japan, with the sunset hours being particularly breathtaking. The inn features guest rooms overlooking the rugged coastline where waves crash against the shore, and full-course Echizen crab dinners are a specialty during winter. Since its founding, this long-established inn has been beloved by local fishermen and tourists alike.
