Tsukigase Onsen is a day-trip hot spring facility located in Kake, Akiota Town, Yamagata District, Hiroshima Prefecture. Opened in August 2020, it is a relatively new establishment built near the former JR Kabe Line Kake Station site. The facility serves as a community hub for the town''s compact city initiative, providing a gathering place for elderly residents and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the famous taiyaki shop Yoshio.

The spring quality is alkaline simple hot spring (hypotonic, alkaline, low-temperature spring) with a remarkably high pH of 9.7. Containing 57.3mg/kg of metasilicic acid ions, the water has an exceptionally silky and slippery texture that is rarely found in Hiroshima Prefecture. The spring is renowned for its excellent skin-beautifying effects, leaving skin noticeably smooth after bathing. The facility uses a heated and recirculated filtration system.

Despite its compact size, the facility features an indoor bath, open-air bath, sauna, and cold water bath, along with a dining area and rest space. Admission is affordably priced at 500 yen for adults, 200 yen for elementary school children and younger, and free for children under 3. Operating hours are 11:00 to 21:00 (last admission 20:30), closed every Thursday. Parking is shared with the Otagawa Exchange Hall Kakehashi with capacity for over 50 vehicles. The facility is ideally situated as a base for visiting Sandankyo Gorge, a nationally designated Place of Scenic Beauty, and accepts cashless payments including PayPay, auPay, d-barai, and credit cards.
