Furuyu Onsen ONCRI (Onkuri), located in Fuji-cho, Saga City, Saga Prefecture, is a hot spring resort that opened in April 2012. With the concept of 'a mountain gorge toji resort where you lose track of time soaking in lukewarm waters,' the facility blends modern comfort with traditional therapeutic bathing culture amidst the lush natural surroundings at the foot of Mt. Sefuri. The water quality from its private on-site source is a simple weak radioactive spring (radon spring), distinct from other facilities in the Furuyu Onsen area. At a gentle 38 degrees Celsius, the lukewarm water is easy on the body, highly relaxing, and ideal for extended soaking sessions. The facility uses its abundant private source, which yields over 43 tons daily, in a free-flowing system with partial circulation and heating. The bathing facility SHIORI offers an impressive 15 varieties of lukewarm baths including outdoor baths, box steam baths, ceramic baths, and reclining baths, plus a natural sand steam bath experience. Therapeutic benefits include relief for neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, gout, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, and chronic skin conditions. A complimentary shuttle bus from Saga Station operates by reservation, providing convenient access.
