Izumo Yumura Onsen Yunouekan is a small, intimate hot spring inn limited to just two guest parties per day, situated on the banks of the Hii River in Kisuki-cho Yumura, Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture. The history of Izumo Yumura Onsen stretches back approximately 1,300 years, with the spring recorded as the medicinal waters of the Shitsuni riverbank in the Izumo no Kuni Fudoki, compiled in 733 CE. Praised as waters that soothe mind and body with a single bath and cure all ailments with repeated bathing, the spring was also used by warriors to heal their wounds during the Warring States period. In the Meiji-era hot spring rankings, it earned the highest rank in the Izumo region as a Western Maegashira.

The spring water is classified as an alkaline simple hot spring with a pH of 8.7 and a source temperature of 43 degrees Celsius. The water is colorless, transparent, odorless, and tasteless, with a smooth feel on the skin, earning it a reputation as a beautifying spring. It is served as a completely free-flowing natural source without any dilution, heating, or recirculation, drawing from two sources that naturally well up from the riverbed of the Hii River. Therapeutic indications include neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, cuts, burns, and gynecological conditions.

The facility features an indoor bath, a private open-air bath (family bath), and a foot bath. Day-trip bathing is available at the public bath Motoyu Shitsuni-no-Yu for 600 yen for adults, 200 yen for elementary school students, and 150 yen for infants. The private open-air bath costs 1,100 yen for a 50-minute session. Operating hours are 10:00 to 21:30 (last entry 21:00), open year-round. Overnight stays start from 12,855 yen per person with two meals.
