Goshiki Onsen is located in Rankoshi Town and Niseko Town in Hokkaido, as part of the Niseko Onsen area. Situated with views of Mt. Niseko-Annupuri and Mt. Iwaonupuri, the name "Five Colors" comes from either having five types of spring water or the water appearing to change through five colors daily due to sulfur content.
